The first of August 2012 will witness the release of my first short story collection, Lost in the Dark.

The collection will contain twelve of my best stories to date, including Portico, which is being turned into a movie here in South Africa. Some of the stories have been previously published, and some were written specifically for this collection. The overall theme is one of lost hope.

In a later blog I’ll go into each story a bit more, but the overall line-up will basically contain: the scariest Santa you’ve ever come across, a haunted house, demons, vengeful ghosts, well-dressed zombies, crazy people, kidnapper cannibals, a psychopathic husband, more ghosts, more demons, naughty zombies and a werewolf. These stories will take you back in time, into prisons, old buildings, faraway lands, fashion runways, psychiatric wards, public parks, highways, homes and many more.

Lost in the Dark will be available from Crystal Lake Publishing (more on them later) in eBook and print. The print version will be available a bit later than the eBook, but feel free to book your print version by emailing Crystallakepub@gmail.com.

The cover for Lost in the Dark is designed by award-winning artist Ben Baldwin.

All the best,

Joe
