Tapping into strong emotions

I've been doing a lot of reading and experimenting lately on using emotions as I write. I just finished a story now that comes from my concern for the high level of crime in South Africa. And, although it was very difficult for me, I managed to tap into the hatred and disgust I have towards it. I write horror, so yes, the highjackers were brutally slaughtered afterwards. Is there an actual Haunted Mansion in York Road?

As most of you know I enjoy grabbing my camera and taking more than just a few photographs. I think mostly because of my bad memory. What I enjoy most of course, is taking photos of anything spooky. As I’ve said before, I am already certain ghosts exist, so whether I capture a few on camera or not, I still enjoy strolling around old houses and cemeteries to take in the atmosphere (Anything to help me experience my stories better).
